In the vibrant city of Bombay, near the iconic Juhu Beach, C.B. Ibrahimkutty pioneered the art of handcrafted kulfi and faloodas, laying the groundwork for a future generation to build upon. Years later, his son C.A Abdul Azeez drew inspiration from his father’s legacy. Witnessing the tremendous growth of kulfi and faloodas in Bombay, Abdul Azeez thought, “Why can’t this magic extend to Kerala?” However, fate intervened when the Bombay Beautification Program led to the redevelopment of targeted locations, making it challenging to expand in the city.

Undeterred, Abdul Azeez saw an opportunity to bring his vision to life in Kerala. This unexpected turn of events sparked a new journey. In 1995, Abdul Azeez founded Melba Premium Ice Cream Company, bringing the essence of Bombay’s beloved beachside treats to Kerala, blended with the state’s own distinct flavors and traditions. Each batch was lovingly crafted with precision and care, using only the finest ingredients to create unique and exquisite flavors. Abdul Azeez’s relentless dedication and commitment to quality nurtured Melba into a beloved brand, cherished by people of all ages.
